Ms. Gingras is obtained her B.Sc. Nursing at University of Montreal in Quebec, Canada, in 1976. She worked ten year at Ste-Therese Hospital, a long-term psychiatric hospital. She was a psychiatric Head-nurse for 6 years and coordinator of Ambulatory Services for period of 4 years. After moving in United States, she worked at Mary-Immaculate Hospital on surgical and telemetry units. She obtained her Master degree in Nursing / Family Nurse Practitioner in 1996 from Hampton University, Virginia, and completed her Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist for Adult in 1997 and Children/ Adolescent in 1998. She worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Hampton Mental Health Associates in outpatient clinic, servicing adults and children in need of mental health services. She accepted the position of Clinical Director for the Intensive In-Home Services in 2006, a division of Hampton Mental Health Associates, dedicated to prevent out-of-home placement for children/ adolescents. She is also supervising the Mental Health Support program since 2011, designed to provide support and training to a severely challenged mental health adult population.
