Virgil “Mo” Charles, PMHNP-BC

Mrs. Charles enlisted in the U.S. Air Force (USAF) after graduating high school. She applied for and was accepted to a Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program (NECP). After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida (UCF), she earned a commission and became a Registered Nurse (RN) and member of the USAF Nurse Corps. While continuing her military service, she began to pursue her graduate degree. She retired from the Air Force and completed her MSN degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Eastern Kentucky University. She has experience caring for diverse patient populations across the lifespan with acute and chronic mental health conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
